Here at Canterbury Rd Vermont, we undertook a full house replacement of really old timber colonial bar windows, replacing them with our double-glazed aluminium windows, powder-coated in monument.
Consisted of 30 windows and doors. This customer wanted to replace his old 3mm single glazed colonial windows which were barely intact and replaced with our double glazed aluminium windows powder coated in black.
Up there with one of our more complex jobs, a lot of planning went into this but the result was unbelievable. This customer in Patterson lakes had a steel post separating 2 windows and most of all blocking her beautiful view of their very own beach/jetty. So we came in and got to work. We had to support the load-bearing roof to allow for a 6.5 meter PFC Lintel combo with bolted connections to SHS Posts. Once secured and fixed we then installed a 5.5-meter bi-parting sliding door to allow maximum light and picturesque view. We also supplied and installed another sliding door to the bedroom and x2 bathroom top lights including bricking up the old window openings.
